Triad Triage RPM Out
As I mentioned in an earlier post, I’ve had the absolute pleasure to be playing music with a fine piano trio this year comprised of Dave Bridger on Upright Bass and Grant King on Piano. This trio (otherwise known as Triad Triage) has been a musical highlight for me since we began playing this year. We mainly perform improvised music but also cover some dandy standards as well! Over the month of February we were busy recording our first album for RPM! I’m pleased to say that we managed to reach the deadline and recorded well over 30 minutes of original music along with a few of our favorite standards. The album is free to stream off of the RPM website. Simply click HERE. I’m really proud of this record and feel that if anything it’s extremely natural, organic and interactive. Most of this music is completely improvised without any overdubs or editing whatsoever (that I’m aware of). There are some really great moments and if you feel like taking the time to listen a little I would love to hear your thoughts on the record.
